    Ok. So check this out

HP DV5 - VGA - Plasma TV = Flickering image on TV

HP DV5 (Running on battery) - VGA - Plasma TV = No flickering

Whats the deal here folks? This PC/MAC bridge worked flawlessly on my previous iMac. And when I try to create that on my DV5, I find a flickering, flashing and wavy image on my Plasma panel.
However I take out the AC and let on run on battery and the Bridge works fine, no flickering. But obviously thats not a solution, so what could be the prob here folks? Anyone famil with this?

    Cheers,

Could be interference due to the crap AC power supply. I get audio groundloops on some stereos from my DV5t when on AC, but not when on battery. To fix this get a convertor plug that will convert the 3 pin AC adaptor to 2 pin (ie no ground pin). I do not know if this is the cause, but can't hurt to try.

    Might be worth a try.

The OP is experiencing interference from the charging circuit no doubt. So this might help. I've seen it happen on Macs too occasionally.
