Just got mine a week ago and I like this machine quite a bit.
Starting to wonder if I'm the only one on earth who has one as there isn't much discussion about it anywhere. :D

I am the proud owner of a 4270US. I bought it on sale at Office Max when it was on sale for $749.00 I don't think you can beat the price/feature ratio. I really love mine and it has functioned flawlessly. About the only thing I HATE is the hump in the 8 cell battery. Sure the 6 plus hour battery life is nice, but it sure is uncomfortable on your lap.

I got mine for $729 on the 26th of March and Office Max dropped it to $699. It's still on sale at that price. I got a refund on the difference. Terrific computer for the money. My RAM upgrade is shipping from New Egg. The only snag I've found so far is coming up empty looking for the PLL-IC info to try to over clock it a little. :D

Please pass the oc'ing info along if you find any. I have searched to no avail also. This will never be a gaming monster, however it plays Battlefield 2, Left 4 Dead 2, etc. very well with frame rates in the 50's. Pretty acceptable if you ask me.
