I've been eyeing the dv5t as my laptop for college. But it is just way too reflective/shinny. I've been reading that it attracks fingerprints like crazy. So is there any other laptop made by HP that is similar to the dv5t but just with out the finger print problems?
    Thanks!

Any of HP's consumer grade laptops are going to have that reflective surface. That being said, I haven't noticed many finger-print problems at all during my week with my laptop.

He means going with a HP Business Class notebook (hint... look at his sig)
Go to HP.com and look under Small and Medium Business.

Here a link to help... :)

If you want a nice notebook I wouldn't consider them, but the G series units aren't as bad either, though the top is still glossy black most of the keyboard area etc is a matte black. I had a G50-104NR which wasn't terrible for a low spec notebook, but better video and high end CPUs are out in the G Series units as well as many other features. If you want a higher end unit the business models are definately the way to go.
