    I am looking for an HP or Compaq notebook 15 inch or preferably smaller laptop with high resolution screen. I need screen with high contrast (crisp letters etc.), good colors, will use it for blu-ray playback, need HDMI and preferably configurable with blu-ray ROM drive. Happy T and thanks!

    The pavilion DV5t comes with a 1680x1050 screen. Have a read at Chaz's review of this machine.

    dv4z with LED screen. Be sure to configure a Turion Ultra CPU, 802.11n and Bluetooth, 12 cell battery. Not a high res screen, just 1280x800, but on a 14" notebook that's probably about right?
