Doing a Google search, I was able to find a rebate coupon for the dv8000t, $80 on a Configure to Order unit. However, the dv8000t doesn't show up on HP's product list.

I'm assuming its a near twin of the dv8000z, just a Core Duo and SATA HDD's. Perhaps some different graphics options. Of course it will have to run DDR2.

Does anyone know anything that they can talk about?

    Thanks,
    Hermit

    Looks like a typo.

    My v4000t isn't dual core. Don't believe that the "t" means dual-core.
The v1000t was shown as "coming soon" for 3-4 or so weeks before it was available for purchase. And then once you could purchase it, it had a 1 month build time.

I can't comment but find the initial post to be interesting.

I've not heard of a dv8000t. Maybe they are coming out soon. Would be sweet.
