Does anyone know anything about new laptops HP will be releasing in the next few weeks. I am hoping they will have a sonoma laptop(home not business) and/or one with a better graphics card than the ati x600. I am a researcher in computer graphics and would at least need the ati x700 but most likely an nvidia 6800 Go or a ATI Mobility X800.

Also does anyone know if HP will be replacing the 7000 model(can't remember the exact name) or are they just calling the zd8000 top of the line?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes I know that a desktop is a smarter choice(I alreay have 3) but I need a laptop for presentations and on the road research.

I would like to know this as well. I can participate in the Employer Purchase Plan here at work but it does not apply to the business models.

Side note, I really like the HP zv5000z however am not too thrilled with the video card in it. I want to be able to play World of Warcraft, HL2, etc. That's why I'm hoping they announce something soon with a higher end video card selection.
