I am thinking of getting HP 6500t special edition or Dell 1520. As far as H.P 6500t I am worried about CPU Whine or the whine. What do you have to say ?

Well im not sure about the dv6500t series. But from what i have read its not all of the HP laptops. My store bought dv9548us from circuit city doesnt whine at all. Even under 100% load. So im sure your safe. My core 2 duo also uses the santa rosa chipset and its very very quiet. Hope that helps. :)
