Well the blackbird 2 has come out with no laptop counterparts. When could we see a laptop with VOODOO DNA. Just like the blackbird. And please do not say the HDX it is not a gaming laptop.

its the wait and see approach. I would put money on two things.

First HP wants to see if people will pay for the blackbird. The better the sales figures for it, the better the chances of getting a Voodoo laptop.

Second the sales figures for the HDX and how they compare with how dell is doing in the extreme laptop gaming market. Obviously HP wants to beat dell in all areas so if they are down in this area they could bring out that voodoo laptop...only time will tell.

Well see it would make sense I mean the +17" gaming market is huge check out the What to buy forums everyone is looking for one. I know they are losing a lot of sales this is an area that was dominated by the Xps 1710 now it seems like the Clevo M570Ru and the D900C. But many people do not want to buy these laptops because, sure they may be from trusted resellers but when did you take a sager to school and get VOWS. Alienware is a nice option in fact a great one but gets to pricey too fast. And Dell XPS does not have a great style and some people just do not like certain companies(MOI). Anyway if HP made a Blackbird laptop it would have great style something all HP's have and dells do no.t I like the Stripes and blue lighting HP's have. This is what I hould like to see in a HP Blackbird laptop.

Dual Nvidia 8800Ultra in sli or dual 8700GT's in SLi for cheaper model.
A radically de clocked quadcore desktop CPU. FSB and the GHZ can go down a little.
Or if that cpu option is not possible an over clocked intel extreme Laptop CPU
    Then watercooling system
    Algia Physics card
    WUXGA screen
And an overall thin design for a gaming laptop.

What do you guys think? Any other suggestion on what should be on the Blackbird Laptop?

watercooling for a laptop? no way they need to fix the laptop if the heat will be that much. and you cant really get a thin design with a watter cooler in there :)
