    Any Way to Downgrade HP dm1z BIOS?

    My dm1z BIOS is currently at version F.13. I would like to downgrade it to get back the Advanced mode and wake-on-lan (WOL) feature.

    When I try to flash the BIOS with firmware F.05, I get the message, 'This BIOS is not for your notebook PC'. Is there any way to downgrade the dm1z BIOS from F.13 to F.05? Thanks.

    I'd like to know this, too. It's pretty annoying have to go through a ton of roudabout ways to make sensical changes to the laptop.
