    What are the pros/cons?

Would you switch to 32-bit if you could?

    TIA

No, but i have tried 64bit xp on my dv6000t. it ran fine, except for a few hiccups from half assed drivers.

i didnt really notice much improvement. and i wasnt expecting to. i dont think software and developers are ready for 64bit yet. what i mean is, its fairly new to the mass market, and they're still trying to get up to speed on all the compatibility. i think a year from now though, we should be rockin.
and so will vista as an os for that matter. or you figure it would anyway.

i would give it some time before you invest any money. you WILL eventually be able to get the most out of your hardware.
