Any ideas when new designs for the Dv5 will come out?

So I've been pondering whether to get a Dv5z or a Gateway M-Series. I've been leaning towards the Dv5z but I don't really care for the little mesh-like pattern on the lid. So, I was wondering how long it took for them to get new designs for the old pavilions. I really like the circular one and all the special edition one so I would be sold if they came out with something like that for the Dv5z. So if anyone has any idea, I would like to hear it.

They just came out, so I would expect a few months wait at least...The Special/Artist editions usually come out every couple of months in general, so it'll take a bit.

 

I'm not sure about how long HP used the old design, but I heard that it used the old design for a long time. But, that does not mean that HP used the exact same design for every notebook before the new design. HP gave some variations. Anyway, it should take some time for HP to invent a whole new design.

 

Maybe a few months then there will be a special edition dv5. I'm actually looking foward to a dv4 special edition. I'm not too fond of the mesh pattern and black. I recently browsed the HP website and found:

HP Pavilion dv4-1155se Entertainment Notebook PC

Also

HP Pavilion dv4-1101tx Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC

I'm guessing the first special edition will be a dv4-1100se.
