    Any news on a Holiday HP Envy 17 update/refresh?

    I have not been keeping up with the board lately so if this question has been asked I apologize.


    Has anyone heard anything about HP updating or doing any kind of refresh for the Envy 17 for the Holidays? For example last year at the end of October the Envy 17 3D edition was announced, However due to HP’s current PC division situation I am curious to know if they are going to do a refresh or update.

    IMHO, doubtful as the release of Ivy Bridge next year will probably prompt a refresh then. Also, with the management shake-ups going on, I wouldn't count on a PSG divestiture anytime soon unless the price is right from an interested purchasing agent.
