I bought a case today from Staples and even the interior dimensions are equal to or greater than the notebook's dimensions, it didn't fit.

Anybody recommend an affordable case for this notebook?

    Check this link out:
    http://www.ebags.com/business_cases/laptop_cases/category_search/index.cfm?N=2006675

You can customize the dimensions of your notebook or simply find your model(or a comparable one) and it will sort out all the cases that will fit. Good prices too, just bought a large laptop sleeve the other day for 20% off on these 1-day sales they always have.

    Hope this is of someuse-

ebags is a pretty smooth site, but I was surprised to see that Dell's laptop bags are very competitively priced vs. ebags - even with ebags 20% off or 10% off + free shipping. So Dell is a viable option for a laptop bag/case-- especially if you have, or want to acquire at a discount, a Dell coupon.

I ordered a Case Logic NPL2 Ultimate Protection bag from Dell and it arrived in 2 days. It fits my Inspiron 6000 (15.4" WXGA) and I'm hoping it will fit the zv6000 when it arrives. I think the zv6000 is slightly larger than the Inspiron 6000.

I actually ended up ordering my laptop bag off amazon because Ebags unfortunately didn't carry that manufacturer, but the "Kensington Simply Portable" seriers are pretty nice. They got good review and there are 3 different versions of them depending on how much space you need. I went with the "Simply Portable One" which has some nice features like clam-shell accessability, drop-shield padding, self-repairing zippers and 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon, which is something like the material the military uses for bulletproof vests and whatnot. Good value for the price too (around 35$ w/ a standard lifetime warranty) and it accomodates screens up to 15.75", Heres a link if anyone feels like takin a look.

That seems like a good option Sarvaga, but it doesn't list the weight. Also, newegg has that same bag for cheaper with cheaper shipping.

I have been looking at the bantam brief at ebags, but it might be a tight fit.

Well I went back to staples and I ended up having to pay $15 more to get a Targus case. $40 for a case and there's really nothing fancy about it.

But I needed something quick as i'm going to be lugging this sucker around a lot.

I just went to CompUSA for my laptop case. They had exactly what I wanted and it fit my laptop perfectly. Plus, they have the best variety I've seen anywhere. Not a big fan of the purse style. :) With the one I have, I can use it right inside the case.
