    Hello Guys,

I came across this HP Dv6-3104eg notebook.Looks like an Acer 3920TG but a bit bigger.

Does any one know how much battery life it has with Intel graphics?Or a link to a review for this or a similar model?

    Thanks

Is there a reason why you aren't ordering the newest Pavilion model?

$1400 for a SE with the previous generation i5 in it?
I don't know what prices are like in Germany, but that computer would be worth about $600, maybe $700 in USA.

Companies are going to want to clear their inventories. I'll give it a month before they start going 550 or so.

Unlike in US the market is pretty conservative in Germany.I found one of this model for 500Eur and was thinking of snapping up one because:
1)It has switchable graphics.Similar to Acer 3820TG and I hoping a similar battery life as well.
    2)Backlight keyboard
    3)Finger print reader

I could not find any information about the newer models in Germany. And all I need him is for light gaming, movies on go etc.

Would the latest models make a big difference in battery life?

    Rgds

The new models would be faster. I don't believe there is much difference in battery life.

The new ones are not available with backlit keyboards. 500€ sounds much better than 999€.

It gets about 4-4.5 hours of battery life on integrated graphics. Here is a good review.

    Thanks guys! Rep"d.

Does any one know why Acer 3820TG with similar specs has a lot more battery than this model?

Well seeing that they're similar, they are not the exact same. Most likely, the battery isn't the same, but some battery draining features include the CPU, GPU, and your Screen.

Higher Resolution = Higher battery drain.
Powerful GPU/CPU = Higher battery drain.

I'd compare those features and see which ones are different. You may just find your answer.

    EDIT:

    As I suspected...

    Battery -

    HP Dv6-3104eg
Built-in 6-cell battery has a capacity of 55 Wh and a notebook with her in our standard editorial * test lasted for 4 hours and 48 minutes, which is a very nice result for such a laptop. At maximum brightness, active Wi-Fi and Web browsing, I got slightly over 3 and a half hours.

    Acer Aspire 3820TG-334650MN
    67 Wh Lithium-Ion, 6 cell, 10.8V, 6200mAh

    ---
The batteries they use are different.

Not to mention the screen size. The 3820TG is 13.3'', the dv6 is 15.6''.
