    Has there been any rumors of a Radiance return to the Envy14?

    Not that I know of. I think they stopped producing them due to low supply.

    With HP not giving a damn about its PC division, I'm betting NO.

    Actually the new rumor mill running is that HP has pulled back from the table and has decided NOT to sell its PC division, which makes the most sense in my opinion, since the PC division was one of their largest cash cows!

    HP's not pulling out of the PC business, but the fact that they were going to makes me think that they won't give the Envy 14 the TLC it needs to be a top-quality machine. The Radiance displays are pretty much out of the picture, but if HP wanted to make the Envy 14 a top-tier computer right now they would find an alternative that's equal to or better than the Radiance. Since HP's follow-up to the Notebook of the Year award was complacency and backpedaling, though, I wouldn't expect it.

    HP is sloppy in terms of design choices. I'd say wait a few years and come back.
