    Still researching stuff and wanted to see if there is a particuarly good Pavillion dv series or any in that series to avoid either?

    i would wait for the updated line, although if u want to get some big savings now, u could go for the 500 dollar coupons on the current line. Each line has different characteristics, choose what u need.

    The only major differences are the size of them. Inside each model line, the only difference in the numbers are the different feature they come with. So pick the size you want, the shop around for the features. Or you could go to HP's web site and build one yourself with all the features you want.
