    Any way to force higher resolution on 1280x768 screens?

    Is this something at all possible? Say on the dv1000? (14.1" 1280x768)

    You can't go higher than native resolution on an LCD.

    You can't go higher than native resolution on an LCD. Well on some latops you can, and have a virtual desktop of say 1600x1000 but you only see 1280x768 at any given moment.
