Can anyone tell me how to turn off the display/screen of DV6T manually? The auto turn off function in the power option found not working while downloading.

you have press f4 and switch to external screens. It turns off your laptop's monitor.

or go to power settings, under "choose what closing the lid does" select "do nothing". You can close ur lid and the monitor will switch off automatically without putting the machine to sleep
