I'm looking into one of the notebook's in the dv2000 series. I would like to look at it before I buy, andybody know a chain of stores that sell them? Circuit City doesn't have them, in the store. Best Buy doesn't have them on their website, and CompUSA doesn't have them in store, or online.

    Anybody know?

All three stores usually have the dv2000 on display. Did you try other stores in your area? Office Depot also sells the dv2000

Best Buy and Circuit should both have them, as well as Costco.

Best Buy may not have them on their website, but they do carry them...At least some of them do. I already have a dv2000t, but was just in a best buy yesterday and they had a dv2000v on display.

I have seen them at Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples, Circuit City, and various other electronic stores. They should have them everywhere, the dv2000 is HP's best selling consumer notebook right now.

the 2000 is? I figure the 6000 would be..

But anyway, remember that the Compaq v3000 is the same PC if you're looking to compare the size. And if you're looking to compare the aesthetics, the 2000 looks identical to the 6000, just smaller.

I've seen the 2000 and 6000 on display, and the compaqs, at both CC and CompuSA for what it's worth.

Well, I know for sure one of the C.C.'s around here doesn't. But maybe the newer one will.

I'll check at Best Buy. CompUSA doesn't have it for sure.

They're building a CostCo here, so maybe when it gets done I will look there.
