I am about buying the HP 9420, but I need to use a serial port, so I want to buy also a docking station from HP. I want to ask if the serial port on the docking station is a genuine serial port or some "virtual/software" one? I need to use the port on low level. Is anybody successfuly using the serial port?

    Thanks,
    Petr
