    Anyone tried to install different wireless cards and successfully able to boot without modification to the bios??

    You need to know what cards your notebook/bios supports. Some bioses support only one model and some of them several models. Without bios white/black list mod, you can install only bios supported models. For mod, read the insyde bios modding thread on same location as this one.

    The some of the cards I listed, should work on dv6 bios later than F09 since they were just published recently.

    Only a few were added in since the April 2010 manual.


    Would love that thread, but I don't even know where is the start of the guide in there. Most of it were just feedback of previous actions of different models, making it really hard to follow along.

    That thread should deserve its own subcategory.

    well yea, that's truth but one guy succesfully did the blacklist mod and used to modify bioses on demand, idk if he still does, coz in this moment, only i, cavrac and etiko post on that thread, with few new ones in it.. idk where are the others
