    Hi Anyone know this type of machine ? is this a DV7t or other class of machine ? anyone got the review for this type ?

    HP dv7-1023cl (C2duo 2ghz, 4gb ram, 320hdd, nvidia 9600, 17 inch with blueray reader, vista home pre 64bit)

    The MSI has a much, much better GPU. That's about it. I would go for the HP if I cared less about gaming, otherwise the MSI.

    You sound Aussie and so does the model number of the HP? Are you? I am also and I have never seen a MSI Ex625 around here.

    is it true ATI mobility 4670 got better performance compared to nv9600m ? i thought they are on par / same speed class..

    The 4670 runs rings around the 9600M GT. It is probably around a massive 50% faster. Definitely get the MSI, if you care about gaming speed.

    whats the equivalent of ATI 4670m in nvidia world ? is nv9700m gt in the same performance bracket ? or is it nv9800m ?
