    Greetings-

Just wondering if anyone could post close up pics of this machine. It's hard to tell what it looks like from the 2 sites I've found that reviewed it other than it's really shiny.

I'd also be interested in knowing what chipset it has, as I am interested in putting XP on it and need to start researching drivers.

HP is sending me one of these as a replacement for a Compaq that i bought 2 months ago that didn't have the same specs that were listed on their website, so this is their way of making good on that after I complained.

I will say they seem to be quite generous by doing this and the support has been top notch, the best I've gotten from HP ever...I was dreading confronting them on this but it was relatively painless as these things go.

    Thanks!

Not the same notebook, but the designs are identical anyway. Its the dv3000 which is Asia Pacific only. Shares the same finishing as the new pavilions. All pics taken by myself. You can try contacting the Lead Moderator ''Chaz'', as he owns a dv5t.

Cool. I'm new to this place so I didn't really realize how all the forums were set up. Thanks.

I'll stick my posts in the dv5t Owner's Lounge Thread. Thanks for pointing me here.
