I noticed that Best Buy is selling an HP G42 laptop with 14 inch screen, Athlon II P340 dual core, 3GB RAM, 320GB hard drive for $350. Seems like a good deal to me but I can't seem to find any reviews for this laptop online. Does anyone here own one of these? How's the battery life on it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have this exact model but I do have the G62 with the 15.6" display and the same specs as the one listed at Best Buy and I have enjoyed it quite a bit. It's plenty powerful for browsing the web, listening to music, and typing documents. Considering this is a budget laptop, I was quite surprised at how swiftly everything moved. I paid $429 for mine at Office Depot with a $50 rebate so after taking everything into account it would be around $379 which is a great deal IMO. Battery life is average on mine, about 4 hours if you're typing documents and around 3 1/2 for heavy web browsing.
