I really like this little baby. Glossy finish leaves fingerprints but its not so bad except the bezel around the screen. The outside top finish has a swirl pattern on it and fingerprints are not so noticeable.

I like the keyboard ALOT. It's something like 95% the size of a regular keyboard and it feels like it to. Nothing notable out of place for me. The shift keys are present on both sides of the keyboard where they should be.
The on board mouse / trackpad takes some getting used to because the buttons are on the left and right sides.
Screen size is 1024x576, which deprives you of a little real estate. However in surfing the web with Firefox I have not had to do very much side scrolling. You can unhide higher resolutions for hooking up to larger monitors. If no external monitor is present you can scroll your laptop screen around at higher resolution.
Sound fidelity is not great, but not awful. It does come across fairly loud for a laptop though which is a plus in my book.
I've loaded up Steam on here and downloaded Monkey Island which runs great of course, also Ultima Online runs perfect. I'll try WoW when I get home.
The webcam I think is 0.3 MP so it's not great but it works and if you have a decent connection the picture is pretty clear if there is not a lot of movement going on.
Majorly impressed with the speed of Windows with 1GB of ram. I guess it's all because of the N270 but I am very very pleased and even suprised at how fast this little thing is. Boot up = 20 to 30 seconds from power on. Surfing, downloading, installing software all exceeded my expectations by far.
Battery life also exceeds expectations. I thought maybe I would get a solid 3-4 hours... but right now I'm going on 5 hours of constant use including: heavy surfing, some email and about 45 minutes of gmail video chat, downloading, installing and running Ultima Online (1.5 hrs of play) and Steam + Steam Games (1 hr of play), surfing and purchasing on iTunes, and watching movie trailers. I've got 17% battery left, and I started at 88%.
Anyway, very pleased so far.

I've been looking into one of these for my mom for her birthday. I have heard mixed results on weather this supports more than 1 GB of RAM. Not bad for XP but I'd like to put Windows 7 on it for her.
Enjoy!!! -
I am also looking at these for my wife, but I would definitely choose the 1366x768 screen and the n280 Atom, and I really hope that I can put at least 2gb ram on it.

I had one of these at my job, until my manager realized she messed up and got me a real computer. Man, those were some bad few weeks. Hunched over trying to see what was on the screen. The thing took 5 seconds to load a web page while my new, real computer does it instantly. Hated it!
Anyone have an HP Mini.. I just got the 110-1030NR
