I just got a new HDX16. Been having issues with the intel 5100 agn. I've updated drivers to no effect. It would stay connected for awhile, but loose all connection at times. Its starting to be a pain. It can't even pickup my neighbors' connects and I have 10 in my area which my Toshiba picks up. Its paired to the Dlink DIR-855. Anyone else with issues? Thanks.

I posted this earlier in the week for someone with a similar issue on their dv5t. Not sure if it worked for him but you could also try.

The Intel WLAN cards appear to always try to connect via the "n" tech. So I suggest to disable the "n" part of your Intel 5100 card via the driver.

    Try this...
    - go the the device manager
    - select Network adapters
    - double click on the Intel WiFi adapter.
    - select the advanced tab
    - under Property... select 802.11n mode.
    - disable

Thanks. But I'd prefer to be connected to n. Thats why I got the hdx16 and the dlink n router. I mean if I connect to g, whats the point of my purchases. However, I appreciate it and I'll give it a try.

I updated to the driver from Intel. So far so good. Don't know if it will hold up tho.

I spoke too soon. It lost connection again. I've switched back to g for the time being. I don't know if it is this network card's issue or what. I might be returning this one.
