    what does it the laptop look like from the side? does it expose the thin/flimsy silver bezel?

    it would be awesome if someone posted a picture of the right side after installing the HDD/caddy.

    it shows exactly what i wanted to see! thanks so much.

    I couldn't figure out how to remove the plastic faceplate/bezel of the optical drive, so I figured the caddy would need to be set there with a gigantic space where the plastic bezel is supposed to be. guess it's possible to transfer it onto the caddy after all.
