I'm thisclose to pulling the trigger and ordering one, but I'm hesitant due to HP's hit or miss nature with new notebooks. I haven't heard boo about them since the release. If you ordered one and get yours soon, please post your impressions!

I'm waiting for Costco to carry the new dv6 in stores since you can order them online
I really want one but with HPs past I'm not sure -
Im going to be ordering one this week (hopefully tonight!!!
). i really wanted the moonlight white one purely for the looks. plus i liked the little media remote and the key pad it came with. but went on the site the day they rolled out the new ones and i was sad they they immediately got rid of the old ones. I did perk up, however when i saw metal finish (hope its on the bottom also and not some crappy plastic), the better core i5 processor option and the ATI gpu (lovin that switchable sexyness !!!!). I am most definatly maxing out all the specs except for the processor (ill be more than satisfied with the the 2.53ghz core i5. the core i7s are too expensive and not power efficiant enough for a laptop that u actually want to leave the hous with). Ill even see if i can get a review put up. with pics and and benchmarks once and possibly an un-boxing vid thrown in. Depending on HP's item availability i should get my dv6tse by next week. from what ive been reading on this forum HP is usually pretty fast with there building and shipping.
