I clicked through, and searched, the XP on 6500t thread, but didn't see where anyone had tried to put XP on a dv67xxt yet. Has anyone tried? Any significant driver problems? If/when I try it, I'll post my results. I will be getting a dv6775us within the next week.

They use the same components as the dv6500t. Barely anything changed.

Actually I don't think anything changed. I first had the DV6500t and then they upgraded me to the DV6700t. The only thing they changed is the 8400m GS from 128MB VRAM to 256MB VRAM. Which in my opinion and the opinion of most of notebookreview members, Is the same thing. I personally think it was a marketing scam from hp. People tend to buy *new* things around Xmas time. Which is when HP "launched" the new DV6700t, offering nothing new. Just new numbers. Just my opinion.
