I am curious if anyone on here has any thoughts concerning this laptop that samsclub.com offers. I have included the specs from their website and would be interested in hearing opinions.

My wife and I are looking for a desktop replacement and the ability to have a laptop too. From what I can see this appears to be a somewhat decent laptop.

    Appreciate any comments - thanks!

Pentium 4s run hot and are heavy. If you tell us your budget and what you plan to do with it, we can help better. 4200RPM hard drives are painfully slow. You might want to consider buying at HPShopping.com. You can configure your notebook to you liking and won't have to pay tax like at Sam's Club. Some other 17" notebook choices would be Dell 9300, Gateway m680, Asus W2v and Fujitsu n6210. Good Luck.
