Where are you, in the US? If so, the parts store is showing it as being instock...

I'm confused...maybe as referring to slice I'm referring to something else. I'm looking for the slim fit battery for the ENVY 14....I'm seeing a different part number, WQ385AA, and being out of sock. Same thing?

thats the model number, the part number is the one listed above. It's also reffered to as RS06. Don't worry, just order the part above for $127 (about $150 after tax/shipping) and you will get the slim fit battery for Envy 14. It's sold out in the home offce store, but still available at the parts store listed above

I tried that but when I go to add to cart, it loads a page that says I have no parts in my cart.

Im not in the US though, so could that have something to do with it?

BTW how much of a difference in battery life does the slice make? Ive heard 8 hours but that seems a bit high.

With regards to the discount, did you just call to order the part and say "are there any discounts that are currently going on that you could give me?"

Any advice on this would be appreciated, as everyone loves to get a discount... :)

Yes Call ask for the discount, you will get 5% and some have received 10%.
All the information I posted in the upper part of this thread is correct.
My slice shows an additional 3 hours of battery.
So do get super excited and think your going to get 8 hours more, that is just pure BS and I'm sure HP knows its pure BS, but it sells them more lap tops and battery's

I agree with waleed! I got the travel adapter as well as the one that comes with it. I keep the travel adapter in my backpack and the regular one plugged in in my room. Before i had it i wouldn't have condoned buying one but now i can't believe i did't get an extra one before.
