    Anyone manage to upgrade a newer dv6 screen to 1080p?

    I saw a couple older threads but the details and success seemed murky at best. One guy got a 1080p screen installed, I think it was salvaged from an older envy 15, but there was some sort of color issue, another person was complaining about the difficulty of having to remove the screen coverings on older notebooks.


    What is the state of the state of knowledge today? Has anyone successfully replaced the standard 720p ish screen to the 1080p model for the same series?
