    I am pretty sure this is the laptop I am going to buy (it will be my first)... The specs meet what I need it for, but I was just looking for a review from someone who owned one, besides the few short ones I have found on sites selling this model ;)

    I've got one, bought in 05/2009 with a $200- off coupon (end price $459).

    The only complaint I have is the glossy screen. plan on getting a piece of 3M vicuna film to de-gloss the screen.

    Cool... So is it pretty good perfomance wise when doing everyday tasks like e-mail, internet, MS Office, etc? Does it stay relatively cool? :cool:

    Do you happen to know if the LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support optical drive reads CD's at 24x?

    Does the wireless network card drop connection often?
