This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I currently have Atheros AR5007 in my DV5z that support 802.11b/g. I want to add 802.11n capable card. I thought of getting Intel 4965 that supports dual band 802.11a/b/g/n. Though I believe I only have 2 2.4GHz antennas (will check tonight) and card like 4965 requires 3 antennas to be connected. I don't care much for 5GHz band at this point and wonder if I can use 4965 in my laptop with only 2 anteannas.
