There's a deal at Office Depot nearby my house : 899$ CAD for a V2310CA which come with 512 MB, TURION ML28, 80 GB, 6 cells battery and a DVDRW.
My only worry is the battery life. It seems there is a lot of different results from users to users. MOst of the forums guys seems to run their test on the ML30 with 6 cells battery, giving them between 2h30 and 3h00 on low task usage.
My question : will i get those battery lasting numbers with the ML28 CPU?

I don't own a Turion, but I'd suspect you'd get very similar numbers from your notebook, if not more, as your Turion is running at a lower clock speed.

Hey where is this Office Depot that has this deal? Happen to be in the Toronto area by any chance? Most of the places sell it for $999 and I plan on buying one.

I have a ml-28 but different notebook. Battery is a 6 cell. Battery life is around 2.5 hours to 3 hours.

The power consumption of ML28 is a bit higher as compared to higher models but you will have a very similar battery life. Be sure to undervolt it, though!
Anyone with ML28 Turion CPU?
