I have an HP 8710w with a 3 year onsite warranty.
Is it valid all over the world ?

As I understand it, the warranty is international, however, with some caveats. Onsite warranty is only available in certain areas, and the level of service will also differ country to country.

I google "HP International Warranty" and here is what I got:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=bpr01266

On the warranty booklet that came with my TX2 (which is a consumer notebook), it states there that in any case that a product was transferred to another country, the HP available on that other country will try, on its best effort, to resolve hardware issues that needs servicing. If parts needed to repair the notebook will not be available on the country it was transferred to, the end user will be responsible for the shipping. But again, that is for a consumer notebook. I never had a business notebook.
