    Compaq Presario M2000 Faulty LCD

    I'm having a problem with a m2000 screen, i got horizontal line line rainbow appear at the screen. i have try open the keyboard and pull out the cable. After that put it back, the problem still apear, I think the still need a replacement. Can anyone offer me LCD for this model?

    Plug it on a external monitor see if the line show up there too, if it does then your GPU is the problem.

    This has happened to a previous user and it turned out to be the LCD screen itself.

    You will have to buy the screen off ebay or e-stores for around $100
