So when i press the QuickPlay launch button that's right beside the dvd launch button it opens Windows Media Player. How do I assign it to te QuickPlay program? where do i find the the app that configures these buttons. i just did a fresh install of Windows XP on a dv2225nr.

First off you have to make sure you've reinstalled Quickplay as well.

Then there is a little rocket looking thing in the bottom right near the clock, right click that to adjust.
