    Ati 5650 Latest Drivers?

    Hi

    Does anyone have the latest drivers for the AtI 5650 and Control Centre please?. Do I need to uninstall the drivers too to update to the latest ones?.

    You have to install the HP drivers before you install the ATI ones over for switchable graphics.

    So do i just install the new ati on top of the ones that came w/ the comp or uninstall the hp first? i'm confused sorry

    Wait I thought the updates from the ATi page don't work with switchable graphics and you can only get driver updates for the GPU from HP's site?

    yeah I haven't figured this out yet. I've read multiple places to instal the new drivers over the hp drivers but whenever I try and instal the ones from the ATI drives I get the message "ati catalysit mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatable hardware/software on your computer. the version of your graphics adapter is not supported. please contact your notebook manufacturer for a graphics driver update."
