So, when I first got my HP Envy the sound was fantastic, I went through, made the discs, did the updates, threw in a solid state drive that i purchased (Intel 520 series).. It started to cause a little "blip" in the music after a while of use... So, I rebooted the computer and wasn't having any problems from then on out... now, it started happening again, so I looked around and got a latency checker... This is what it's giving me for normal use now.. Screenshot by Lightshot So, that is very bad obviously... I was looking around and some people were saying that intel rapid storage Technology has caused these kind of problems for a lot of people... Now my question.. am I able to uninstall that program to see if that was the problem afterall? I heard that that program controls the AHCI controller for my SSD... Will the laptop still be able to take advantage of that and TRIM if I uninstall it and find that that was the problem afterall? Or will uninstalling it cause issues?
