    Audio device not installing on Presario v6000

    i have a compaq presario v6101us in front of me. just formatted it and putting all the drivers back, but the audio device will not install. i DLed the 1 from compaqs site but then i get a error window that says the media device was not detected. anyone have any ideas?

    You have to install the MS UAA drivers before installing the audio drivers, otherwise you will get that error.
