    Automatic shut down on dv9000 after F.16 BIOS downgrade

    Hi guys,

    I have a dv9000(dv9316ea) and i downgrade bios from F.26 to F.16 because overheating problems. After i downgrade i turnt on and after the windows xp screen appert it shut down. I try reinstal Windows but when windows start to install it shut down.

    Any Ideas?

    The laptop may still be overheating. Did the fan behaviour change once you flashed to F.16? Have you cleaned the computer recently?

    Yes i clean the commputer. I run a harddrive self test in bios and the computer isn't shut down.
