I have a dv7t with 4GB of RAM.
With no programs running, I have about 33-39% of RAM being used. And with Firefox open, I have about 43% RAM in use (1730 MB).
I was just wondering if this is on par with you guys. I have done a pretty good job of keeping my computer in top shape and have minimized, as much as I can, the amount of startup processes.
Thanks

On average its about %60 percent ( unless FF crashes ), usually about 2GB of physical ram and a 1GB PF. The actual ram usage is 1.3GB
OT: Anyone know of a program other than process explorer that can show whats in my PF? -
My memory usage is around 50-60% with a few programs open. I have 2GB of RAM. -
Unused RAM is wasted RAM.. Keep this in mind.
6MB Free, 1854MB Cached, 3031MB Accessible, 4096MB Total. 32-bit Windows Vista, 71 Processes. -
I need something that tells me exactly what processes are using exactly how much of my PF. -
Thanks! -
1.33/6GB right now. Not much open though - FF, 2 tabs, several explorer windows, a file copy.
