    Hi,
I am trying to get to my BIOS settings to see how it is configured,
but everytime the HP welcome screen is too fast for me to catch which button I need to press on,
I tried F2, it gets me to a screen with memory test and HDD test,
I tried F10, which is the recovery center,
But, where is the BIOS setting?

    Thanks :p

try f1 as well. but keep tapping f2 immediatly after you press the power on. you have only a matter of seconds to grab it.

Im not sure, but usually you press F6 or F12. If they dont work, as soon as you tirn it on, breeze your fingers really fast by all the "F" Keys and odds are, one may work! Hope i could help

    Just tried F1, F6/F12,
F1 shows up my hardware configs, but no setting
F6/F12, pressed both at booting, gets me to the dual boot screen
Man, why don't HP make this easier for us, by putting everything in F2 or some other one, why does HP divides this BIOS thing up?
gonna try other f-key when booting...... - -*

I know on my nw8440, there's an f9 option and an f10 option. I forget which one is for the BIOS. Since f10 didn't work for you guys, try f9. Then again, it might be totally different for the consumer pavilions.

    Hope this helps!

I have a DV9500t and F10 is to get inside BIOS, as well as with most HP computers. There hasn't been newer HP that I've come across that F10 doesn't get you into BIOS.

Also, when you boot your laptop, immediately look at the bottom left of your screen, that is where the key options will be displayed.

I got in the BIOS with F10, not too excited after I get in,
but then, which one is for the recovery center?
