hey guys this is starting to really annoy me now since I got my 5th bsod by now.
    the first one was idk
but the past 4 were about "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

and it always happened when i tried to shake the mouse to turn on from sleep mode (not touching the computer for a long time)

i have an hp dv6-2044ca, amd turion ii mobile dual core m500, 4gb ram

idk why it happens and when i used "WhoCrashed", i got this analysis

"This was likely caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe
    Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0xFFFFF6FC40075000, 0x0, 0xFFFFF80002C7D322, 0x9)
    Error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    Dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\010910-25162-01.dmp
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System"

for more info, i recently installed from the HP Website, an update of lightscribe system software and i updated my bios from f.03 to f.04

You likely have a bad/corrupt driver. Maybe the video driver. check everything for updates and (temporarily) deinstall the lightscribe stuff.

i check for updates everyday lol manually.

in the graphics card section of this website, i posted something ion where i had a question on updating my drivers but i was confused sin there were 3 options...
the post is here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.php?p=5676635&postcount=2378 can anyone help me with this??

basically a summary is that my video driver claims to be 8.63 but the amd websiet has 8.65 which will benefit me =)

the prpoblem is on the hp website, it has a "1.00 A" version and it is the drivers that come with the laptop..

if hyou want everything to know is in the original post linked above
