About 50% of the time when I resume from sleep, I get a BSoD. It says BAD_POOL_CALLER on the blue screen.

I thought it was my video card drivers, but I reinstalled them, and it still does it. I also read that Comodo causes these problems, but they were happening before I installed it.

    Here is some other information:

Not on purpose. I don't think it came as an automatic update, so I don't think it is installed.

in some cases the wireless / ethernet drivers can cause such a crash.

you could try switching the wireless and ethernet off and see if the problem still persists.

I updated my wireless card driver and disabled my ethernet adapter because I'm not using it. It didn't crash this time. I'll update if it crashes again.

It just crashed again with the same error. I made sure to flip the switch on my wireless card before I turned it off. It was still turned off once I tried to resume, but it still crashed.

ok brian, can you post the exact message of the bsod ?

if your computer automatically restarts after the bsod, you can go to system ->advanced-> startup and recovery -> settings uncheck the automatic restart.

when the bsod occurs again, you can write down the exact message and post it here.

    one more question :

do you have commodo installed ?

this is what your error is about :

    BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)
The current thread is making a bad pool request. Typically this is at a bad IRQL level or double freeing the same allocation, etc.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 00000007, Attempt to free pool which was already freed

I've gotten this error everytime I try to resume from sleep on my desktop running Home Premium x64. I think it's an issue with the sleep levels in the BIOS conflicting with the OS..I'm not sure though. I haven't been able to find a fix for it either..there was supposedly some Microsoft patches to solve it but they didn't work for me..I can see if I can dig up the links for you to try them.

Did you install vista SP1? It's suppose to fix the BSOD when resuming from sleep or hibernation mode.
