    Backlight not working HP DV 6000

    After changing the inverter due to some problems with it , the laptop worked for a month or so and now the backlight is not working at all , i can see that the screen is working but its sooo dull , i can use the laptop by hooking a screen but i want to know what part ill need to change , or how can i start trouble shooting??

    You're getting no backlight at all? You probably fried the inverter again... which suggests that the CCFL is going bad and drawing more power. Best bet is that you'll need to replace both the CCFL and inverter this time, and CCFLs are not fun to replace. Doable though.
