I have a problem with an hp zv6000 (no backlight). When I giggle the lid switch it will flash and sometimes stay on for a short (less than a minute) and then go back off. Inverter or just a bad switch, Anyone?

Unplugging the lid switch is probably the first thing you should try. I'm not sure how difficult that is on the zv6000 series.

That is what I thought as well, but if the inverter didn't cost to much I could replace it while I'm in there.
