I got my Envy 14t 2000 beats edition and did a fresh install of windows 7 x64, and have not found the utility or driver to allow me to control the backlit keyboard in windows:

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?? I have already installed every driver listed on the hp website for my model... and done extensive searching for the correct driver/utility to do this

Thank you so much for any replies

Does the backlight work? Do you have a driver/application disc from HP?

Yes forgot to add the keyboard works fine and turns on and off with with f5? key I believe. (it's not in front of me now to look)

It just does not show in windows like the attached picture, I would like to control it's behavior on bootup and sleep mode, dim times... etc.

I have the original swsetup folder and installed everything and nothing did it

Thanks for the reply! hope someone can help me solve this
