Alright I recieve my notebook and all is well and dandy with it. Just one thing I cant find. The $10 more Windows XP Media Center Edition Backup CD which I added. I do not see it at all. So I'm guessing it is a seperate CD right not just a recovery partition?

    Hey..F!reStr!fe

For my case, I ordered dv2000z with $10 backup cd and when I got the package, back up cd was in the notebook package ( in a paper wrap)

I think you need to call HP for asking that back up cd again or you can ask refund
